Product Description
Equivalent to the domestic grade 0Cr18Ni10Ti 321 stainless steel is a Ni-Cr-Mo austenitic stainless steel, its performance is very similar to 304, but due to the addition of metallic titanium, it has better resistance to intergranular corrosion and high temperature strength. Due to the addition of titanium, it effectively controls the formation of chromium carbide. 321 austenitic stainless steel has good corrosion resistance in the atmosphere and is widely used in petrochemical, electric power, bridge and automobile industries
However, the "stainlessness" of stainless steel is not absolute. Due to the special service environment, stainless steel will also corrode. Factors such as medium concentration, pH value, and temperature will have a greater impact on the corrosion resistance of stainless steel. For example, long-term use within the sensitization temperature range of 450 to 850°C will cause intergranular corrosion of stainless steel. There are three types of 904L stainless steel plates: hot-rolled stainless steel plates, cold-rolled stainless steel plates, and finish-rolled stainless steel plates. 904L super austenitic stainless steel is a low-carbon, high-nickel, molybdenum austenitic stainless and acid-resistant steel, which was introduced by H·S from France Proprietary materials. It has good activation-passivation transformation ability, excellent corrosion resistance, good corrosion resistance in non-oxidizing acids such as sulfuric acid, acetic acid, formic acid, and phosphoric acid, and good corrosion resistance in neutral chloride-containing media It has good pitting corrosion resistance and good resistance to crevice corrosion and stress corrosion. It is suitable for various concentrations of sulfuric acid below 70°C, and has good corrosion resistance in acetic acid at any concentration and at any temperature and mixed acid of formic acid and acetic acid under normal pressure.
